Family Ties, for Monterey County We wish to share news about the grandmothers of 550 children who have interrupted retirement for unexpected parenthood when one of their adult children is absent because of illness, drug addiction, imprisonment, or death. Most are single women with limited income and social or health needs. Their commitment keeps children out of foster care and connected to a loving family.....
